This piece is a collection of 50 A5 sized drawings created over two weeks, capturing various people, surroundings, and everyday moments I observed during this time.
The images above drawn on black paper are various traces and marks I’ve observed—whether organic or inorganic—found anywhere from my home ceiling to the bricks of a sidewalk. Together, these marks serve as quiet proof of a presence that once existed.

Below are the faces of strangers I've caught glimpses of while passing. Through these quick sketches from memory, I tried to capture the scents and presence they give off the moment our paths crossed.

Through these daily observations, I realized my habit of always walking with my head down, which led to frequent encounter with insect corpses on the streets. This prompted me to reflect on the varying ways we perceive the loss of different lives: Is the death of a smaller, shorter life form truly less deserving of our pity? I find our obvious numbness toward these micro-deaths intriguing.
I expanded one of these observation sketches into a three-peice poster series, and later developed this theme into an animated short film:

從這些日常觀察中，我察覺到自己走路低頭看地面的習慣，也因此會頻繁遇見那些死在街頭的小蟲子。這促使我思考人類面對不同生命逝去時的微妙態度：較短、體型較小生命的死亡，是否就真的不值得我們的憐憫？我們對於這些微型死亡的明顯麻木讓我覺得很有趣。
我將其中一張觀察圖延伸發展為一組三件式的系列海報，也將這個題材於日後發展成一部動畫短片：
